Lost phone at 4 August meeting

One of our members lost her mobile phone at last night's meeting. It is an older model silver Nokia. If you find it or know where it is please contact Leonie on 62862868.

About Canberra Quilters

The Canberra Quilters organisation was formed in 1976 to promote the art and craft of patchwork and quilting in Canberra. Connecting the blog has joined the Connecting Threads newsletter as a means of keeping members and friends of Canberra Quilters up to date on what's happening here.

Meetings are held throughout the month - two in the Cook Community Hall, the rest in our premises at the adjacent building C. Details are below in the Local Events Calendar.

Drop-in sessions are held on Wednesdays and Fridays,10am-4pm(unless it is a meeting time) and the second Monday evening 7pm-9.30pm. Members welcome to come and sew, use the pinning table and the library.

03 May: Evening meeting in Cook Community Hall. 7.00pm for 7.30pm start. Wendy Saclier, guest speaker. "Mothers' Day special show & tell, resumption of adjourned AGM.
8 May - Quilts For Others (QFO) sewing bee - all welcome 10.00am-2.30pm
9 May - ROWmakers meeting, 10am - noon, followed by drop-in until 4.00pm
10 May - Creative Clothing interest group meets, 10am- 2pm.
12 May - Art Quilters meet 1-4pm
16 May - Wonderful Wednesday meeting in Cook Community Hall, 9.30am-12.30pm. Themed show & tell- crazy quilts or crazy anything quiltlike. Followed by drop-in at CQ premises until 4.00pm
19 May - Canberra chapter of Southern Cross Quilters (SCQuilters) meets 10am-4pm
20 May - Biggest Morning Tea 10am until 2 pm in Cook Community Hall. Theme - Oriental Tea Party. Raffles, lucky door prize, games. To raise money for cancer research. Bring a plate to share and some $ and change to donate
25 May - Friendly Friday Meeting, 10am until 1pm, followed by regular drop-in until 4pm
